We just got back from a week in Utah. We had lots of fun. We had Hope's first birthday party at Classic Skating and Bounce House. She had fun fun bouncing and playing and, of course, making another mess of a cake! Click THIS to see the pics.
And then we had Thanksgiving at my mom's house. It was very nice. The food was all delicious. After dinner, each family was assigned a 30 minute activity to keep the kids entertained. I did a scavenger hunt and a relay race. Aunt Tashia had them make their Santa lists. And Aunt Amy had them make hand puppets, and then they put on a puppet show for us. Grammie's activity was they each got a pair of new Christmas jammies, she made popcorn in her old fashioned popcorn cart, and then they watched "Kung-fu Panda".

My mom and I went shopping on black Friday (at 8am) and found some great deals. Then that night we went downtown to see the Christmas temple lights. The kids sat on Santa's lap at Gateway and then we rode TRAX over to the temple. It wasn't all that cold like it has been in the past. The temple was beautiful.

TOO bad we missed you at Temple Square!! Looks like a very fun time. The kids are adorable in their PJ's.
Oh my!! Were we really only blocks away over Thanksgiving?? We've got to get better about coordinating!!
Your kids are adorable! Yes, I remember the shoes--so glad to see Hope wearing them! She's too cute!
