The proud Dad!
My little brother Chris and his wife Tashia were expecting a baby girl to be born on August 4th of this year, but she decided to come a little early. She was born Monday, May 5th at 27 weeks. She weighed 1 lb 14 oz. I flew out to Utah Monday night and was able to see her. She was perfect. Her skin color was good, her little fingers and toes were just tiny and she had a little purple bow in her hair. We're just starting the process of getting her to grow and be healthy. So far she's needed some blood transfusions and has a couple of heart murmurs they're watching closely. But she's a little fighter.
She likes to suck on a pacifier which I can only imagine is the size of her whole head. Her mom, Tashia, went down to see her and when she talked to her, Katelynn opened her eyes and looked at her mom. So sweet! We'll definitely be praying for her to grow strong!
