Mountain biker Man

Thanks so much to everyone that has been concerned about Lar. I thought I would share exactly what happened. Last Monday, July 28th, Lar went on a bike ride with a bunch of friends. They rode a trail called "Joe's Ridge". He's been on it a few times before, but this time he hit a rock wrong and he flipped up over his handlebars. He hit his head pretty hard (yes, he did have a helmet on). He ended up with a concussion, broken wrist and broken elbow. He also had some pretty good scrapes on his arms and face.
They kept him in the hospital until Thursday so they could monitor him and make sure his head was OK. He's been home and doing pretty good. His pain has even mostly gone away. He's gone back to work the last couple of days.
Tomorrow he will go in for surgery to repair his wrist and elbow. The doctor said the damage to his arm was pretty extensive. It's going to be quite a few weeks before he has complete use of that arm again. Luckily it was his left arm..and he's right handed. His surgery is tomorrow morning at 9:45am.

Josh is waiting to be cared for as well :)

You can watch a video of the trail he rode here:
