Happy New Year. We're very excited to be starting a new year and a new page in our life.
Hope is doing so well. She is 2 months old now and has grown like a weed. She is almost 10 lbs. She has started smiling and absolutely loves to be with her daddy. He's the one that really got her smiling.
Lauren and Josh are doing great. They're back in school and looking forward to the second half of the school year. They both adore their baby sister and still are always willing to help. Now that Hope is a little bigger I'm not as worried about them holding her and playing with her. As soon as they get home from school, they go right over to her and start talking to her. Josh says he cannot wait until she can laugh. Larry told him babies start to laugh around 3 months old, so Josh asks me all the time, "Is Hope 3 months old yet?" We marked it on the calender so he would know when she was (hopefully she'll stick to the plan as well:)
I'm still feeling great. I have another CAT scan scheduled in March. I will also be following up at Stanford in June. After going through the traditional winter cold/flu season, I definitely noticed it took me a lot longer to get over what should be minor illness. But I'm still taking my vitamins and trying to eat some "immune-boosting" foods. I'm hoping to stretch out my watch and wait plan for as long as possible. After talking with my medical team I do think I'm on track for that. There doesn't seem to be much concern for immediate treatment.
We're ready for a family vacation now. I think after the last few months of ups and downs and then being home bound with a brand new baby, we're all ready to take some time off and relax.
I hope you're all enjoying your new year and have lots of fun plans as well! Love, Jen

ME, he he after all this time, I decided to step up. I remember how great it was working for/with you. I hope I can help my crews night be a little more fun like you used to make it.
Besides Kohls, I am just running the household getting kids here and ther, Samantha is 6 - 1st grade, Garrett is 4 - preK (different places of course). Gymnastics and soon soccer. I love them so much and still, I could stare at them until eternity. I pray for you alot and I remember what a gift each day is to us. Love and Hope to you, I will keep in touch. The kids are so cute. Hope looks just like you, she is beautiful.

Jen,
I finally got a link from Joan for the blog. I couldn't find the piece of paper I wrote it on in the hospital. Finally I'm seeing it. Love reading that you are feeling good. Let us know when you are coming to SLC and we'll drive down to meet you for dinner.
